This was a school project where we had to create a logo, a visual and some advertising posters for a fictional brand. We also had to create a piece of clothing and I went with a t-shirt. I knew I wanted to give it to my mom in the end and that is when I found the name "La Jefa" which means "the boss" in Spanish.
I'm a big fan of music, especially metal and I wanted to give this metal aesthetic to my logo. I've always been fascinated by black metal logos, the way the letters come together forming an unreadable but beautiful visual.
I'm also a huge fan of street art and I thought, why not mix this street art aesthetic with the metal one. For the advertising posters, I mixed different medias such as photography for the background and the model, then I drawed on it with Procreate on Ipad, I really like how it turned out.
